I am a fellow traveler who, like you, has had some difficult experiences and at certain points in my life I wanted to end it all – the pain was too great.
One of the hardest battles I fought was getting free from a manipulative, abusive relationship with a narcissistic man. It took everything I had and more to reclaim my sanity, my life and my very self.
Your battle may be different – but I promise you that you will also find encouragement from these resources. Whether you are fighting depression, alcoholism, fear and anxiety, codependency, suicide – it doesn’t matter. We all fight with the same desperation, for the same end goal – to reclaim our lives. To truly live. Whatever is robbing our joy, our peace, our sanity – we fight against it to walk out of that arena in triumph.
I was weak and scared, and so far in over my head. But it doesn’t matter when you have someone else fighting alongside you. One who never gets tired, is never afraid, who intimately knows your circumstances and all you will face even before it happens. Yes, I’m talking about God. Creator, Father, Higher Power – call Him what you will. But He is LIFE, and when you are fighting for yours, He is the most powerful resource out there.
May you connect deeply with your life source, and may you experience victory in every area of your life. That is my prayer for you! Be blessed – you were born to be an over-comer!
