“When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation, change the situation, or accept it. All else is madness.” – Eckhart Tolle
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
–Anais Nin

“In repentance and rest is your salvation. In quietness and trust is your strength.” Isaiah 30:15
Begone, unbelief,
My Savior is near,
And for my relief
Will surely appear;
By prayer let me wrestle,
And He will perform;
With Christ in the vessel,
I smile at the storm.
-Hymn (Words by John Newton)

Lord, right now I struggle with clutching fear.
Waves of agony pour over me as I face the darkest moments in my life’s history.
But my conviction still stands firm: You are my God!
And though I cannot predict my future or even my tomorrow
I am sustained by the reminder that the longest storm the world has ever known…and the worst…came to an end one clear-sky morning.
It was true for Noah, it will be true for me.
Though as yet I see no deliverance
I watch
I wait
I expect
my personal rainbow.

“Bear not a single care thyself,
One is too much for thee;
The work is Mine, and Mine alone;
Thy work — to rest in me.”
– Hudson Taylor
